Miners, Bars, and the Wild West: Lawless San Francisco

This tour will start by weaving through the Financial District and the historical Jackson Square neighborhood as we discuss the influences and secrets of the Barbary Coast during the Gold Rush. We'll discuss the lawless years of San Francisco when the city was run by gangsters & wealthy businessmen, as well as social revolutions that occurred through arts and literature. Discover hidden parks, an underground tunnel, and the secret alleys of Chinatown.

In the Castro we'll share old photos from the 1800's and discuss the LGBTQ+ revolution.
